Paul's letter to the Colossians is specifically designed to uncover the mysteries for God's final church (the 3+1 people).
Therefore the prophetess EG White speaks about; Teaching of the Highest Value.
– The manifestation of true goodness is the bearing of fruit in good works. This bears the stamp of God’s approval. Read the first chapter of Paul’s letter to the Colossians. The instruction therein is of the greatest value. The religion of Christ makes all who possess it truly good-minded. It approves of no small-mindedness, of no selfish actions. True Christians possess a nobility which permits no cheap, covetous conduct which dishonors the doer (Letter 58, 1900).
The prophetess also speaks about; What our churches (the 3+1 people) should be.
– The first two chapters of Colossians have been shown to me as an expression of what our churches in every part of the world ought to be (Letter 161, 1903). Verses 9-11 God’s will shall be known.
– How complete is this prayer! There is no limit to the blessings we may receive. We may be “filled with the knowledge of His will.” The Holy Spirit would never have inspired Paul to offer this prayer for his brethren if it had not been possible for them to receive an answer from God in accordance with it. This being the case, we know that God’s will is revealed to His people when they need a clearer understanding of His will. (Letter 179, 1902.) Bible Commentaries, P. 552
