The books of Daniel and Revelation tell us about the course of history in a series of chain prophecies, where events are linked together. They indicate what will happen in the future. If we study them and listen attentively, the spark of faith will spring up in our hearts. Listening attentively is the only covenant condition that God made at Sinai, and the New Testament makes it clear that the Holy Spirit fell on all who listened attentively.
